Overage

If the monthly or annual hits are exceeded, overage will occur, i.e. access to the dashboard will be blocked to all those sites subject to the given subscription. This means that neither the owner, admins nor users of those sites will be able to see the dashboard during the overage period.

The overage period ends when the (monthly or annual) subscription is renewed, but until then users will not have access to the dashboard.

To overcome this problem, Publytics offers the possibility of upgrading to a higher subscription if you go into overage by simply paying the difference between the old and the new subscription. In this case, the dashboard is immediately accessible again to all users of the site and the billing cycle remains unchanged.

Let us give an example:

Let's say you have a 1M pageviews/events Lite subscription that costs 55€ per month and is renewed every first of the month.

If you overage on the 20th of the month, you can immediately switch to the next Lite plan (2M pageviews/events per month) and only pay the difference between the two plans, i.e. you only pay 15€ (as the 2M pageviews/events Lite subscription costs 70€ per month).

Then, the next renewal date, you will pay the new subscription tier instead of the old one.
