Preferred Homepage view
It's common to have multiple websites on publytics but some are more important than others. In this section you can set the default website view that you want to analyze as soon as you open your dashboard. Everytime you log in with your profile you will see the website you selected.
Real-Time Time span
On each page of the Real-Time section you have the option of analyzing different time periods ranging from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. Here, in user preferences, you can choose the value that best suits your needs and set it as the default value for all pages in the Real-Time section (you can always switch to different time spans on page using the button to change the time span).
Real-Time Time metric
In every Real-Time section you can see on the top right corner of the page a button that allows you to select the metric you want to analyze in the Real-Time page. This button allows you to switch from the Active Users metric to the Pageviews metric. If you prefer one of them in particular you can set here in user preferences the one you like the most (you will always be able to switch from one metric to another in every page).
Real-Time Attribution Model
Many users have different needs, which is why Publytics offers the possinility to change attribution model during Real-Time analysis. The default attribution model for Publytics is event-based, but many users need a session-based attribution model. In this section of User Preferences you can easily switch from one attribution model to another in one click. Please note that the session-based model slows down the Real-Time loading speed slightly.
Real-Time Split For Site option
For Business or Enterprise users who have access to the “Network” feature, it is possible to choose the default value regarding split for site. On each page of the Real-Time in the upper right side of the table is the button that allows you to split the table entries by the site they belong to or not.
For example if we are analyzing the Real-Time of a network with 2 sites, if split for site is enabled, we will notice for the “/” page (usually the homepage of a site) 2 different rows in the table, one for each site in the network. If, on the other hand, split for site is off we will see a single row in the table containing metrics for both sites in the network.
