Site options

Site options is a settings' section accessible only by admins or owner. Here they can:

• Check the site timezone

• Site permissions

• Allow hostnames

• Transfer ownership

• Delete the site from publytics (only for owners)

Check the site timezone

In the timezone box admins and owners can check the timezone but this can not be edited. If you want to change your site timezone please Contact us.

Site permissions

Here owners and admins can manage the permissions of the single website. They can give the site access to other users deciding if they can be admin or normal users.

Add user permissions

In the table represented in the image above you can easily Add a user clicking on the button on the top right of the table. Here you will be asked if you want to make him an admin or a simple user. If you choose the 'user' option you will be asked to choose the sections you want to show to the user. In fact, you can choose whether to give him access to all sections of the dashboard (default option) ,whether to limit his access to a few sections and you can also choose which custom views you want him to see (See here the documentation about custom views). While if you choose 'admin' you will give him admin full access permissions.

Edit or Delete permissions

If, on the other hand, you wish to change the permissions of any user or admin, simply click on the 'edit' button in the corresponding row in the permissions table. A popup will then open and you will be able change the permissions of the corresponding user.

In the same drop-down list, you can also remove user permissions from the site just clicking on the 'remove user' button and confirm the action in the popup.

Allow hostnames

In this box you can allow hostnames for your website. Just specify all the domains that are allowed to push events to this site, without spaces between them. (Example: example.com,www.example.com,www.example2.com).

Transfer ownership

If you need for any reason to trasfer the ownership of your website you can easily require the transfer code from the box 'Transfer ownership' here in Site Options.

Delete website

You can delete a website whenever you want form Publytics, just click on the delete button represented above and you will see a popup. Just enter the name of the site in question to confirm your choice and the site will be deleted from Publytics.
